Studio Rates Increasing July 1, 2008

HOUSTON, TX - June 15, 2008 Starting July 1, 2008 Barron Studios will charge $50/hr for all studio time. Our onsite rate will remain $60/hr.
This small increase is necessary as we continue to grow; offering better gear (over $15,000 in upgrades so far this year), a better studio experience (what else would you expect? It’s Barron.) And in the not so distant future an upgraded multiple room space (yep, we’re scoping real estate for a new multi-room facility for 2009).
Barron wants to thank all our clients for jam-packing our schedule and making Barron Studios your studio home. We are truly fortunate Houston has embraced our studio, our approach, and the Barron staff (Chris, Diana, Neko and Todd) as engineers and friends.
Rest assured that no matter how big the artists that call Barron home become, or how many additional rooms we open, we will always offer exceptional sound, unparalleled service and a rate that keeps you sounding great within your budget.

HOUSTON, TEXAS, February 3, 2008 — Barron Studios is proud to present our clients the B.L.U.E. Bottle! Don’t confuse this 4.5 lb, 16.5 inch behemoth with its baby cousin. (It dwarfs our Telefunken AK-47!!) This bad boy was hand made in Latvia, boasts interchangable capsules, and sounds like butter. The B.L.U.E. Bottle, like Barron Studios, draws inspiration from the past, while creating the next generation of classic sound. That is why Barron Studios has adopted the B6 capsule (think a U87 on steroids) and the B7 (think a U47 with shinier top end). Fergie & Barron Spread Cartoon X-mas Cheer!

THE CARTOON NETWORK, December 14, 2007 — Tune your TV’s to the Cartoon Network this weekend to catch Fergie as Mrs. Claus in Andre 3000’s acclaimed cartoon Class of 3000. Houston Electro-Punk Band Cures Cancer

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 17, 2007 — If you name your electro/punk band “Living With Cancer” you are certain to anger people. “I get MySpace hate messages weekly, telling me how not funny it is,” said Nick Hansen, the one-man band’s founding member. But if anyone knows how serious cancer is, it is Nick. Doctors diagnosed him with cancer on Christmas Eve two years ago, at age 20. Ever since, Nick has been living with and fighting the disease to stay alive. His band, “Living With Cancer” released their newest single, ’Weather in Life’, Wednesday, August 15, 2007. MORE
