Recording is the art of capturing sound.

Capturing sound is more than hoisting a microphone and plugging in cables. It’s about a great performance. It’s about a musician, a space, a performance, and an engineer all on the same page, working together to achieve the sound the artist hears in their head.

At Barron Studios, there is no cookie cutter method to achieve this. Each project, artist and song are treated as individuals. Every microphone, preamp, compression and room impact the sound of your recording.

During the recording process the engineer will be working along side you to ensure what you are hearing in your head is what we are capturing. We’ll also provide guidance regarding performance, song arrangement and structure. We’re about active engineering to make your project sound the best it can.

This attitude is a founding principle of the Barron Studios, and is extended by all our engineers.
